Tower Bridge Engagement Photos | Wedding Photographer Surrey: Jen and Stuart chose to have their engagement shoot at Tower Bridge, London. A very different setting from the beautiful countryside venue for their wedding at Botleys Mansion.
Tower Bridge Tower Bridge was built between 1886 and 1894, over the River Thames. It takes it name from the Tower of London, which is nearby. It is one of London’s most iconic symbols. Tower Bridge is sometimes mistakenly referred to as London Bridge, which is the next bridge upstream.
We started out at Butler’s Wharf, which was built between 1871 and 1873. It was primarily used as a shipping wharf and a warehouse. It has now been turned into a living area with luxury flats, and restaurants and shops on the ground floor. The Wharf made an excellent place to start , with Tower Bridge in the background. Jen wanted her photographs to include an iconic London landmark.
To shelter from the weather we moved to the back of the wharf and got some lovely photographs of them posing and being playful with each other. It was so so cold, which made it difficult to maintain a rhythm to the photo shoot.
But the bad weather certainly did not deter Jen and Stuart from having a fun day out. There were several breaks for coffee, keep warm before heading back out. However, the cold weather did not dampen their enthusiasm in the slightest.
It is clear to see from these photographs how much they are in love. I will look forward to their wedding at Botleys Mansion later this year.
